A two-day workshop titled “3rd ESS – Managing Your Research Journey” was held at Sindh Agriculture University (SAU), bringing together students, researchers, and professionals to improve their research skills. The workshop focused on research methods, statistical tools, and effective data presentation. Vice Chancellor Engr. Dr. Altaf Ali Siyal attended as Chief Guest and highlighted the importance of accurate data and modern tools like GIS in research. Speakers included Dr. Arfan Ahmed Gilal and Dr. Bhai Khan Solangi, while Dr. Imtiaz Nizamani and Dr. Muhammad Ibrahim Khaskheli were also present.The workshop concluded with certificate distribution among participants from SAU and other research institutions.

Sindh Agriculture University has started a modern agricultural experiment at Latif Experimental Farm with tissue culture banana cultivation (Dhaka variety) along with chili intercropping to improve land use and farmers’ income. Vice Chancellor Engr. Prof. Dr. Altaf Ali Siyal inaugurated the project and planted saplings on 18 acres, stating it can increase yield by 30–40% and reduce diseases while boosting exports. Dr. Manzoor Ali Abro said university farms play an important role in research and farmer training, while Dr. Muhammad Mithal Lund added that the project will promote modern agriculture, improve productivity, and provide extra income through intercropping.
