Introduction
This clinical department focuses on teaching and research in the areas
of Veterinary surgery, anaesthesiology and diagnostic imaging with
the aim of producing veterinary graduates well trained in various
aspects of surgery for improving health and production of farm animals
as well as quality of life of pet animals and wildlife.The department is strong in continuing education
and training programmes which are organized regularly with collaboration
of Pittston Animal Hospital (PA, U.S.A) for benefit of veterinarians
researchers, teachers farmers and students. It has highly qualified
staff, well equipped laboratories, a library and a teaching hospital
with indoor patient facilities.
