Introduction
The Department of Veterinary
Parasitology aims to achieve excellence in both research and teaching
in the field of Parasitology. Our goal is to discover and implement
novel strategies to control parasitic diseases that affect the health
of millions of animals worldwide. We employ cutting-edge research
in genomics, cell biology, immunology, epidemiology, entomology and
biochemistry to discover new ways to combat parasitic disease. Through
our teaching and training programs, we aim to educate and mentor the
next generation of Parasitologists.
