The Faculty of Crop Protection was
established in July 1987, to fulfill
the need for training in Crop Protection
realized with the new approaches in
agricultural sciences and traces to
100% yield losses in crops due to
insect pests and plant diseases. Faculty
of Crop Protection is highly specialized
field and requires the services of
specialists in dealing with the diseases,
pests, weed problems and vertebrate
pests. It is thought worthwhile to
coordinate the work of three departments,
which are concerned with imparting
the technical know-how of producing
healthy crops and solving day to day
problems in the field of Crop Protection.
This faculty also provides graduate
and post graduate education to the
students from various friendly countries
of Middle East.
