Introduction
The department of Entomology is one of the oldest
departments of Sindh Agriculture University, Tandojam. It came in
to existence in 1939 with the establishment of King George-V, Agriculture
Institute Sakrand and than King George Agriculture College, Sakrand,
which was shifted to Tandojam in 1969. In 1977, the Agriculture College
was upgraded to Sindh Agriculture University, Tandojam. Since its
establishment, the students are dynamically studying for the graduate
and post graduate degrees leading to B.Sc. and M.Sc. and recently
to Ph.D programs. It is one of the unique departments of the faculty
of Crop Protection. The department is fully equipped with class rooms,
laboratories and experimental field.
