Mission Statement
The Faculty of Agricultural
Engineering is an academic unit of professionals
who provide engineering leadership in
the development and dissemination of
knowledge related to the efficient utilization
of biological and agricultural systems
and to enhance and sustain human and
natural resources by integrating the
basic biological and physical science
and engineering principles with food,
fiber and environmental systems.
1. To educate students
in the academic disciplines of Agricultural
Engineering so that they can formulate
and .....solve
problems of agricultural sector involving
engineering and biological systems.
2. To ensure that students develop effective
written and oral communication skills.
3. To instruct students in the latest
computer-based technology in engineering.
4. To develop the students’ ability
to work individually and in teams to
complete engineering design and ....development
projects.
5. To prepare students for employment
in engineering jobs or for study in
graduate and professional schools .....and
for continual professional development.
6. To provide leadership and consultancy
services for many interdisciplinary
projects of national and .....international
importance.
