Faculty of Agricultural Engineering
started as the Department of Agricultural
Engineering of the defunct Sindh
Agriculture College Tando Jam in
1955. The Department was upgraded
as the Faculty of Agricultural engineering
and Technology in 1970. Four year
B.E (Agri) degree program was initiated
in 1970 and in the same year, M.Sc
Agricultural Engineering was also
launched. On the Upgradation of
the defunct Sindh Agriculture College
to the status of the University
in 1977, the Faculty emerged as
one of the Five Faculties of the
University. At present it offers
B.E (Agri), M.E, M.Phil, and Ph.D.
degrees in the areas of Irrigation
and Drainage, Energy and Environment,
Power and Machinery, Farm Structures,
and Land and Water Management.
