The Department of Basic Engineering
is one of the Department of Faculty
of Agricultural Engineering that Department
deals with various supporting courses
offered at Graduate i.e. B.E/B.Sc
and postgraduate i.e. M.E level of
Sindh Agriculture University Tando
Jam. The department also offers the
courses on mathematics, physics and
computer science with particular attention
to engineering applications. Mathematics
is also offered as supporting course
at Graduate level i.e. B.Sc. (Agri:)
in the faculties of Crop Production,
Crop Protection and Agriculture Social
Sciences
The department has well qualified
staff in the disciplines of mathematics,
applied physics and computer science.
The department has well equipped laboratories
for applied physics, applied mechanics
and computer science. There is a full-fledged
computer lab where 18 P-IV PCs are
available for use of the undergraduate,
postgraduate students and faculty.
