REGULATIONS FOR UNDERGRADUATE PROGRAMME
Following regulations will apply to candidates seeking admissions to B.Sc. (Agri.) Hons. Part-1 (New course) 1st Professional D.V.M., and 1st Professional B.E. (Agri.).
Minimum requirements of admission shall be Intermediate Science with at least Grade "C" or an equivalent qualification recognized by Sindh Agriculture University, Tando Jam; except for the candidates applying on the Sindh Agriculture University employees Quota. Both the sexes are eligible for admission.
Candidates with Intermediate Science (Pre-Medical) shall be eligible for admission to B.Sc. (Agri.) Hons. Part-1 in the Faculties of Crop Production and Crop Protection and 1st Professional D.V.M. in the Faculty of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Sciences. The candidates with Intermediate Science (Pre-Engineering) Group shall be eligible for admission to 1st Professional B.E. (Agri.) Faculty of Agricultural Engineering and B.Sc. (Agri.) Hons. Part-1 in the Faculty of Agricultural Social Sciences.
Candidates seeking admission must be domiciled in Sindh / Balochistan / NWFP provinces and AJK. However, this condition shall not apply to the candidates applying on Defence. In case of reserved quota for Defence personnel, the recommendations would be made by General Headquarters.
Admission of candidates from Sindh shall be made according to individual district quota basis. The selection of candidates from district quota will be 80% from rural areas and 20% from urban areas. Urban areas in each district will be confined to Municipalities/Corporations and the rest of the areas will be considered as rural.
Admission of candidates from Balochistan and NWFP is to be made on the recommendations of the Governments of Balochistan and NWFP in accordance with the rules as laid down in the prospectus. The admission of the students from both these provinces will be limited to the number of seats allocated for each province.
Employees of the Sindh Agriculture University, Tando Jam and Z.A. Bhutto Agricultural College, Dokri, possessing Diploma of Associate Engineer with atleast 2nd division and 3 years continuous service experience will be eligible, but in case of candidates who are not employees of this University should possess Diploma of Associate Engineer with at least first division and 3 years service experience.
In case of quota reserved for the employees of Sindh Agriculture University, Tando Jam, the sons, daughters, real brothers/sisters shall be eligible on reserved seats to compete, provided their parents must have put in 3 years of continued service in the University (in-service or retired in the order of preference).
All the candidates shall have to produce marks certificates of S.S.C. Part-II, H.S.C. Part-II/Diploma and required documents in original at the time of interview.
Prospectus and admission forms shall be distributed to the candidates through the branches of M/S Habib Bank Ltd. to be notified in advertisement on payment of prescribed amount.
